In this context of the rapid migration of enterprise workloads to cloud environments increases the volume of security-critical network logs being transmitted to centralized monitoring systems. However, conventional log transmission mechanisms are still vulnerable to eavesdropping, tampering, and even future quantum-based cryptographic attacks. To meet this challenge, the work at hand proposes a Secure Cloud Intrusion Detection System, which processes network activity logs protected using Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). The proposed architecture involves encrypting the network logs through the use of a quantum-resistant key encapsulation mechanism at the client device before sending it to the cloud server; at the cloud-side, the IDS uses a lightweight deep learning classification model to decrypt and detect attacks in real time while maintaining data confidentiality during transit.
