This book is a set of reading simulation exercises,which is specifically written for undergraduate students (non-English majors). There are totally forty-eight units in both volumes. Each unit includes four articles: one for fast reading, one for reading blank filling and two for intensive reading. It is organized from easy to difficult,with its article length, material, degree of difficulty and questions design being able to meet the requirements of the syllabus of CET-4. This book is designed to help students, by doing the exercises, not only effectively improve their English reading ability, but also get familiar with the reading question patterns of CET-4.
