Inhaltsangabe

Jean-Jacques Rousseau was born in Geneva on June 28th, 1712. His father was a watchmaker and his mother died suddenly after 10 days he was born, so Jean-Jacques was brought up by his aunt Suzanne since his childhood. In 1722, his father left Geneva and settled in Nyon, and he entrusted Jean and his cousin to the care of a clergyman named Lanbexia in the city of Bossey not far away from Geneva. After returning to Geneva in 1724, Jean lived in his uncles home and worked as an apprentice to an office clerk. His father remarried in 1726. Jean went to Annecy in 1728 and was introduced by a priest to Madame de Warens who sent him to New Preacher Education Institute in Turin, where he declared he abstained Protestantism. Later Jean went to serve at Madame Vasseurs home for three months and then at Count de Kuven.
