He has been actively working on image processing techniques and has more than one hundred and fifty publications to his credit. DWIJESH DUTTA MAJUMDER, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus, Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He is a well-known pioneer in the field of computer science research and develop-ment and has published more than four hundred papers in this area.
