Colombo, Muscat, Rabat, Tokyo, Khartoum,etc. On the basis of his thesis on The Role of Trade in Economics Development, he was awarded a fellowship from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. His research work was also published under the same title. His last study and research work centered on the evolution of development thought and policy with special reference to povertyalleviation in the development world. Recently, he had authored two books: Stages in Challenges for Development Economics; and Changing Face of Poverty and globalisation.
