It deals with the concepts and evolution, in terms of formation and its summation, of various religious and secular buildings like mosques, mausoleums, hospices, Madrasas, palaces, forts, gardens, minars etc. This book throws light not only on different styles of Islamic Architecture but also of Victorian Architecture in Delhi. Separate chapters have been devoted to define and depict Indo- Islamic architectural innovations during Sultanate period and that of Timurids or Mughals with some light on structures of Raj too.
