Though there is considerable number of studies on job satisfaction of industrial works, very few studies were found particularly at school and college level. There are no studies on the job satisfaction of Teacher Educators. The present investigation is considered to be the first investigation in job satisfaction of Teacher Educators working in B.Ed. Colleges.

The present investigation is considered to strike at the combination of both socio-psychological factors in the prediction of Job satisfaction of Teacher Educators working in B.Ed. Colleges. Another interesting feature observed was that majority of studies in the area of Job Satisfaction confined to simple correlation analysis between predictor and criterion variables. Individual and cumulative effects of several independent variables on job satisfaction could be assessed more accurately by employing stepwise multiple regression analysis. Therefore the main aim of the present study was to predict the multiple effect of the independent variables on job satisfaction of Teacher Educators working of B.Ed. Colleges, and further to suggest suitable regression equations in the prediction of job satisfaction of Teacher Educators working in B.Ed. Colleges.

Several psycho-sociological factors may contribute to the job satisfaction. The present investigation is aimed to identify the influence of certain psycho-sociological factors on job satisfaction of Teacher Educators working in B.Ed. Colleges. The relevant data from 592 Teacher Educators working in B.Ed. College were collected.

Is is just fitness of thinks to state that this book is prepared to meet the requirements of Teacher Educators working in B.Ed. Colleges.
