The book as the name says, I thought first it would be a story consisting bubblegums and candies. And these b&c would play a role in a story of a boy and a girls life and subsequently the name is saying so. The story would be a mystic one with each different tastes. Also I had thought about the 16 candies and 16 bubblegums. I got to know that it is way different than I thought. It is far better than I thought. Thanks to the author, for describing the life stories and picking them as b&c. Each one of has happy and sad moments. But some of us has a instinct of facing them as simply enjoying them and getting through. The author focuses the life's unavoidable and actual environments and shades with time and the relationships. First of all, the very pronounced one is 'I am the Mother of two' as she is well known by this name. No one would believe she is married, may be because of her looks or ever happy face. To add to the above point, may be she is beautiful. The fact that she is so is her happiness and facing bravely every situation. The life will put us into different situations and tests are there. No need to worry, they have meaning and we have to just learn from them. Move on, is another point found from this book, by not moaning over the pasts. Because pasts make us heavy and bitterness in present. Leaving them behind is far good. Sometimes people also laugh at us for our stupidity or mistakes at that very moment. The author also has faced the situation. She remained calm to that humiliation and passed as others should do by laughing along with them. This is very much needed now-a-days. We forget to be happy in our lives. Whatever be the situation and point, we should be optimistic and positive. Who knows, there is a truly good thing hidden, which we are not aware of. It is a nice book. Really I enjoyed it. It will be more like writing another book on a book and I would name it '34 baby bubblegums and baby candies'. In every incident she described, there are many lessons to learn. I statistically put only few due to my concern of time. One fundamental principle I learn, see the life in a different perspective and enjoy them. By the time, we passed a few miles, we actually enjoyed the path and the journey that far. As Robert Frost said " I can describe life in three words. Life goes on". Life is a bit like bubblegum and candies. Sometimes you have to keep on chewing so that you extract whatever you can out of it.
