Dr Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, who has a doctorate in plant physiology from Aligarh Muslim University, was the Vice-Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. His research, teaching and administrative experience is spread over more than 35 years.
