En 2021, La Ribot presentó en la Real Academia de España en Roma Distinguished Anyways, cuatro piezas que jugaban con la luz del sol y la pintura, dentro de su proyecto, desarrollado desde 1993, ?Piezas distinguidas?. Una de estas fue creada específicamente para la ocasión, creando un diálogo con un lugar específico. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
(Madrid, 1962) es bailarina, coreógrafa y artista visual. Entre otros galardones, ha recibido el León de Oro Honorífico de Danza de la Bienal de Venecia, la Medalla de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes, el Premio Nacional de Danza de España o el Gran Premio Suizo de Danza.

Distinguished Anyways is not only a reflection on the career of an unclassifiable artist at her best, but it is the first book to celebrate one hundred and fifty years of the Spanish Academy in Rome. Text in English, Spanish and Italian. AUTHORS: La Ribot (Madrid, 1962) is a dancer, choreographer and visual artist. Among other awards, she has received the Honorary Golden Lion for Dance at the Venice Biennale, the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, the Spanish National Dance Award and the Swiss Grand Prix for Dance. Estrella de Diego Otero (Madrid, 1958) is a Spanish writer, university art professor, curator and researcher. She is a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid. Jose Luis Blondet (Caracas, 1969) is a curator, professor and researcher. He directs the educational programs of the Dia Art Foundation, in Beacon, New York. SELLING POINTS: .
