Pero un día cuando su profesor de historia le encarga un trabajo sobre Alejandro Magno, Leo, en compañía de sus amigos Rita y Abram, tiene que ir a la biblioteca a buscar información. Leo inicia su lectura y, para mayor sorpresa, el joven protagonista del libro reclama su ayuda para seguir la pista de un antiguo sepulcro gótico. El libro lleva a los jóvenes protagonistas a viajar a Constantinopla, Escocia, Grecia, Capadocia y la antigua Persia, donde desentrañan el misterio que se desvela con la lectura del libro azul.
