Si bien su colaboración con Laura Riding es sin duda la más célebre y controvertida de todas, Graves también formó muchas otras alianzas artísticas e intelectuales: Siegfried Sassoon o Nancy Nicholson, entre otros. Luego hubo otros a quienes consultó: abogados, coleccionistas de sellos, arqueólogos, lingüistas, clasicistas...
