Best-known for "Out of Africa" and "Babettes Feast", Karen Blixen -- often writing under the name Isak Dinesen -- was an iconic figure in Scandinavia and the Anglo-American world, celebrated as a literary star and a pundit in newspapers, radio, and lecture halls.
