Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Centro Studi e Ricerche Ligabue of Venice, archaeologist and ethnographer Mario Polia is the head of a research program in Peru on native traditions. He is also curator of the Anthropology Museum of Leonessa in Rieti. Winner of the Paolo Toschi Award in 1999 for field research, he has lectured on Medical Anthropology at the Catholic University of Lima.
