The book is the catalog of the exhibition held at the Academy of Arts of the Design of Florence from October, 3 rd to October 30 th, 2014. It reproduces 25 oil paintings on canvas and some pastels made by the Florentine painter in the last five years. As Carlo Sisi writes: In the paintings of Alberto Parigi one senses the recurring of an aesthetic standard that does not contradict the creative impulse but that rather feeds its lyrical force, as it happens with the meter in poetry (hexameter, tercet...), that is necessary to channel inspiration into the various facets of the literary score ."
