Inhaltsangabe

Memory is never a neutral repository of the past. Every culture is shaped not only by what it preserves, but also by what it forgets. Forgotten Mediations explores this tension through a dialogue between Hegelian philosophy, feminist constellational research, and contemporary Iranian art. At its centre stands the work of the Iranian artist Mohaddeseh Rabbaninia, whose layered compositions bring to light forgotten female constellations connected with German Idealism while opening new spaces of mediation between cultures, identities, and histories. Against the broader horizon of contemporary Iranian women's art, the volume investigate memory, exile, and resistance, showing how artistic and philosophical practices can recover silenced voices and challenge dominant narratives.
