This book features a superbly illustrated look at the work of one of Europe's most innovative and exciting female artists. During the past 10 years, Ana Laura Alaez has cut an innovative and highly original swathe through the European contemporary art scene. Using media as varied as sculpture, architecture, images and objects to document her stylised vision, Ana Laura manages to lure us into her private universe with every work. Her themes transcend the labels all too frequently attached to female artists regarding role, gender, and femininity thanks to a mischievous yet robust - and sometimes controversial - imagination.
