Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Anna Lekvall has worked in the field of democracy, development, and security for more than 15 years. She joined the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1996 and has extensive experience from working in Africa and through various multilateral institutions such as the UN, Unicef, and the IMF. In 2007 she was granted the Jonas Weiss Memorial Award for her persistent pursuit of conflict resolution in one of the world’s most neglected crisis areas. From 2008 to 2011 she was the program manager for democracy and development at International IDEA.
