The need for multi modality treatment to cure cancers and minimizing toxicity is emphasized throughout the book. Radiation therapy is the principal method of treating cancer patients and this book highlights the stages of cancers where radiation can provide optimal benefit alone or as an adjunct to surgery and/or antineoplastic agents. The book aspires to serve as a ready reference for the students of oncology, practitioners, clinicians, general physicians and oncologists.
