Inhaltsangabe

What secrets lie buried beneath the ruins of Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa? Why has the Indus Valley script remained undeciphered for over four thousand years? And what if the answers were never truly lost, but hidden within the rituals, stories, symbols, and sacred traditions that still survive today? Explore one of the world's earliest urban civilizations - the Indus Valley, also called the Harappan Civilization. It flourished for half a millennium from about 2600 to 1900 BCE, before it mysteriously declined and vanished from all records. This advanced ancient society flourished along the banks of the Indus and Sarasvati Rivers, with planned cities featuring modern urban planning, grid layouts, advanced drainage systems, standardized weights and measures and impressive baked-brick architecture. Blending archaeology, Vedic literature, ancient trade systems and comparative civilizations, this book explores the possibility that the voice of the Indus was never truly silenced, but only forgotten with time. The Indus Valley Code offers historical investigation, civilizational quest and transforms silent ruins into living voices. Every seal becomes a clue from the ancient world, waiting patiently to reveal the story of a civilization that remained buried for thousands of years.
