Kara Elliott, LPC, LMFT, is a registered expressive arts therapist and yoga teacher whose work bridges clinical practice with poetic inquiry. Grounded in humanistic psychology, trauma-informed care, DBT, child and adult development and life span, as well as play-based approaches, her writing transforms the language of therapy into lyrical witness. Influenced by Carl Jung, Natalie Rogers, Virginia Woolf, and the individuals she sits beside, her poems blur the line between session notes and soul language. This debut collection is an offering from the chair beside the sand tray, the silence of co-regulation, and the pulse beneath every plan-not just the work of therapy, but the world it holds.
