Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Gholam Syedain Khan has more than ten years of experience in the higher education sector as a faculty member in various colleges under the University of Calcutta. He has served his alma mater St. Xavier College (Autonomous), Kolkata, as an Assistant Professor of Finance, before joining the Department of Management & Business Administration, Aliah University, Kolkata. He is proficient in financial econometrics, time series analysis and financial modeling. His earlier assignment also includes as a Research Fellow in the Centre of Excellence in Financial Markets (CUCSE-CEFM) of Calcutta University-Calcutta Stock Exchange. During his stint in the Research Centre, he led the responsibility of editing the financial markets quarterly newsletter of the Centre. He has published a number of articles in the leading daily newspapers as well as numerous research papers in peer-reviewed and Scopus indexed journals. He also serves as a Springer journal reviewer. He is an avid researcher in various fields of finance.

Arup Kumar Baksi is working as a Professor in the Department of Management and Business Administration, Aliah University, Kolkata, West Bengal. Prof. Baksi has more than 20 years of academic & 4 years of industry experience. Prof. Baksi specializes in the domain of Marketing and his research interest includes Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Strategic Brand Management and Tourism Marketing. He has over 100 national and international publications to his credit, besides presenting research papers in more than 50 national and international conferences. Prof. Baksi, also has to his credit two books and 23 edited book chapters. Prof. Baksi has a professional association with AIMA, ISTE etc. and has accomplished two AICTE funded projects and three collaborative research projects. He has developed MOOC modules for the SWAYAM portal of MHRD, Govt. of India. He is also associated with a number of State and Central Universities in various capacities.
