Arun Kumar Singh, Ph.D has been Professor and Head, University Department of Psychology, Patna University, Patna Bihar. He has also served as the Director of the Institute of Psychological Research and Service, Patna University, Patna. A renowned figure in the field of Psychology, Prof. Singh has been a distinguished teacher, administrator and researcher. He has teaching and research experiences of more than 40 Years and has widely contributed to several fields of Psychology including Psychometry and Psychoedumetry. He has developed more than sixteen psychological tests which are popularly used in the researches of Psychology and Education. For sometime, he has also served as Principal of Patna Training College, Patna University, Patna. He has also authored many popular textbooks in Psychology which have been included in the syllabi of the different universities.
