Similarly social psychology and relationships researchers have focused on the impact of cognitions, emotions, and behaviors on people’s relationships. Netta Weinstein is an assistant professor at the University of Essex. Weinstein has published both empirical and review articles concerned with the impact of human motivation on relationship quality and well-being. She has received a number of awards recognizing this work, including the Alfred Baldwin Award for Excellence in Research and a Fellowship and Presenter’s Top Prize at the Gallup Positive Psychology summit. Her findings have been reviewed in popular media such as Scientific American and CNBC. In addition to her research, Weinstein has taught courses focusing on the dynamics and outcomes of human motivation.
