Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Chan Sin-Wai is Professor of the School of Humanities and Social Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and continued his studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, where he received his PhD degree. He was Professor and Chairman of the Department of Translation, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His teaching and research interests lie mainly in the areas of translation studies, machine translation, and bilingual lexicography.
