About the Author:
Kyoko Rabbetts is a former flight attendant and Japanese expatriate wife who has been living in Malaysia with her family for the past decade. Kyoko's family is from Kyoto (the former capital city of Japan) hence she is heavily influenced by traditional kaiseki cuisine, where the food must look as good as it taste.
Years of travel and an innate curiosity about food and how it is prepared and served led her to study various cooking disciplines, from table setting to baking and cake decorating. She loves cooking for family and friends, sprucing up dinner tables, potlucks and parties with her reinterpretations of Japanese dishes that incorporate tastes from other cultures.
