Microplastics (MPs) have emerged as a pressing environmental challenge in recent decades, infiltrating aquatic ecosystems, terrestrial environments, and even the atmosphere. These persistent pollutants are not only a threat to biodiversity but also to human health, as they make their way through food chains and water supplies. In this work, readers will discover an in-depth analysis of cutting-edge methods, including advanced physical, chemical, and biological techniques aimed at mitigating the effects of MPs. The article emphasizes novel approaches, revolutionary technologies, and sustainable practices designed to reduce the ecological footprint of MPs and ensure a cleaner, healthier environment. This handbook serves as both a critical resource for researchers and a call to action for policymakers, environmentalists and stakeholders worldwide. It underscores the urgency of addressing this global issue and paves the way for collaborative efforts toward a microplastic-free future. Hope, this inspires innovation, fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and drives meaningful progress in safeguarding the planet for next generations. First of all, I have conducted a thorough analysis and potential Risk calculation of Microplastics following a monitoring using machine learning techniques in marine and freshwater environments. Then I have focused the Impacts of Microplastics on human health as an invisible threat and linked to lung & colon cancer, marine life and combined impact in environment & weather. After that I have emphasized hidden sources of Microplastics, inhalation and accumulation inside human organs throughout the human body including blood clots, hearts, brain and legs and in our soils, even in exhaled breath of dolphins. I have pointed out robust techniques of removal and degradation of Microplastics; i.e., Eco-friendly Magnets, Novel hydrogel, new device, Engineering Enzymes, greener PVC, New recyclable plastic and more innovative approaches. Finally, I have featured to Perform a Life-cycle assessments on our products. I strongly believe that this handbook will obviously help to all researchers, legislators, ecologists and stakeholders worldwide.
