In the present era of rapid industrialization and environmental challenges, organizations are increasingly recognizing the importance of sustainability in their operations. Among various strategic approaches, Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) has emerged as a vital tool for integrating environmental consciousness into organizational practices. This study focuses on understanding the role of green HR practices, particularly green recruitment and selection, in promoting sustainable workforce management. The purpose of this research is to explore how organizations adopt eco-friendly HR strategies to enhance environmental performance, employee engagement, and long-term sustainability. It also aims to examine the challenges faced in implementing green HR practices and to provide practical suggestions for effective adoption. This work is based on both primary and secondary data, offering insights into current trends, employee perceptions, and the impact of digital and sustainable recruitment methods. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to academic knowledge as well as provide useful guidance for organizations seeking to align their HR strategies with sustainability goals.
