Complete Method of Slide Trombone has been written in three volumes, the first two in 1921 andthe last one in 1946 and the bass trombone is covered in an appendix of three pages. André Lafosse (1890-1975) was a trombonist and a professor at Paris Conservatoire. He also composed a suite for brass quintet called Suite Breveand recorded with Stravinsky.
