The festival and the exhibition commemorate the visit of Bertel Thorvaldsen to the Cascata delle Marmore in Terni on 14th December 1820, on his way from Copenhagen to Rome. It should also have been a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of the great artist, 19th of November 1770.Due to the pandemic restrictions the Terni Falls Festival could not take place as planned in 2020. Fortunately, although with some location readjustments, I am really pleased that the event will be celebrated this year 2021.The basic concept of the exhibition is to reflect and focus my artistic investigation into the universe of Thorvaldsen, Eckersberg, K�bke and Rome.It is a great opportunity to pay homage to the intense experiences Rome and the Mediterranean culture have given me since 1987.
