And the household keeps growing. A man arrives from the city who once loved Beatrix and never knew what he left behind. A widow and her three children discover a sister they had no idea existed. A quiet Finn builds a sauna and forgets to leave.
Awakening of the Sleeping Wind is a warm, unhurried novel about forgiveness that arrives late but arrives anyway, about the particular love of a family that does not look like anyone else's, and about the strange, generous mathematics by which a table only ever seems to get longer.
