If you've ever listened to the radio, you've heard Toto.

A band initially comprised of the top session musicians in the business, the players that have passed in and out of Toto have contributed to albums and songs by some of the most popular music makers in history. Soft rock, hard rock, R&B, country, pop, disco, you name it.

Among many other notable credits, several members of Toto contributed the juggernaut that is Michael Jackson's Thriller – the biggest selling album of all time. Not to mention Toto's many hits of their own, including “Rosanna,” “99,” “Stranger in Town,” “I Won't Hold You Back,” “Pamela,” “Hold the Line,” and the evergreen “Africa.”

The collective resume of Toto’s musicians through the Seventies, Eighties and Nineties reads like a Who’s Who of popular music, writing and performing on songs for Olivia Newton-John (“Physical”), Don Henley (“The Boys of Summer”), USA For Africa’s “We Are the World,” and the juggernaut that is Michael Jackson’s Thriller – the biggest selling album of all time.

TALE OF A BAND: The Listener's Guide to Toto is an in-depth look through the entire Toto catalogue as well as their prolific session career.

This is your handy primer for possibly the single most talented collective of musicians to ever walk into a recording studio!
