Inhaltsangabe

What happens to a sound after it has been made?

Most people think it simply disappears.

They're wrong.

Sounds become stray sounds—floating through the atmosphere before popping up in the most unexpected places and causing all sorts of trouble.

Ever since Chloe banged her head, she's been able to see these strange coloured clouds that nobody else can see. They are stray sounds, and they can be anything from a dog's terrifying growl to a mysterious voice whispering secret plans.

When Chloe meets the Sound Catcher, she discovers a hidden world of runaway sounds and joins him on the incredible Sound Machine to capture them before they frighten people or cause chaos.

But when they begin collecting clues from the stray sounds of an unknown voice, Chloe and the Sound Catcher uncover a plot so daring that nobody would believe it. To stop it, they must follow a trail of sounds, solve a baffling mystery and outwit a criminal mastermind.

Packed with imagination, adventure, humour and mystery, The Sound Catcher is a magical illustrated fantasy for children aged 7–12 and a wonderful story to read aloud and share together.
