"Oh, this is so real and so beautiful. As my family navigates the aftermath of the loss of my 20-year-old son to suicide, your writing has been a torch. Thank you for sharing your pain and your journey. It helps those of us on the path behind you." —Pam Kirsch, bereaved mother of Carson, Louisiana

Endure is for those who have lost a child, a brother or sister, or a grandchild.

Whether you are a grieving parent, a family member, or someone seeking to understand grief's impact, Endure offers companionship, practical steps, and a reminder: love endures.

In Endure: A Memoir of Grief, Resilience, and Love, Kelly McCoy—who lost his son, Cooper, at 23—offers a deeply personal guide for those navigating the loss of a child.

Through poetic metaphors like "shadow casting," "crane migrations," and "spiritual edgework," McCoy invites readers to wrestle with their grief and swim down to the deep places to pick up the spiritual coins.

Written from a father's and retired firefighter's perspective, Endure challenges societal norms about masculinity and grief, reminding readers that there is strength in vulnerability.
