Author Kristina began college as an English major before graduating with a journalism degree, always harboring a passion for writing but never quite knowing what story needed telling until Jolie arrived. A lifelong dog lover, Kristina believes deeply in giving back to the animals who bring us so much joy. A portion of every book sale goes directly to help animals in need, making each purchase a way for readers to join the mission of supporting animal welfare organizations. Living in downtown Durham, North Carolina, with her husband and their four-legged inspiration, Kristina has discovered that life with a dachshund means constant adventure.
