Readers can tag along to places like St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands and into an accidentally reopened tunnel in Berlin that might have linked Hitler's bunker to parts of the Nazi "New Germania." He details his experiences working on the "Conan O'Brien" and "Rachael Ray" shows, a massacre in Atlanta and prowling Monument Valley in pre-dawn darkness. There are tales from the "Tonys", "Emmys" and "Grammys." The chapter "Prelude and Triptych" relates his experiences during the 9/11 disaster. There is even a Metropolitan Opera Seduction Tale.

Jim continues to add to his credit lists. Recent shows include the "Housewives of New Jersey Reunion," "Summer House Reunion," The Eagles "Hotel California Anniversary Tour," "2022 Tony Awards," "NBA Allstars," and "South Park 25th Anniversary Special" filmed at majestic Red Rocks in Denver. Jim is originally from Brooklyn, New York. The eldest of four children born to Sicilian-Irish American parents, he passed his formative years learning the advantages, disadvantages, glories, and guilt associated with these ethnic backgrounds. The lessons were dispensed in usually humorous but sometimes contentious parental bickering at the dinner table. Despite this rehashing of European history, he survived with a minimum of psychological damage, partial to the Sicilian perspective but proud of his Irish lineage. He was a mediocre student, excelled at barely passing his studies, and had been gifted at birth with neither athletic, artistic, or intellectual abilities. Fortified with this impressive background he decided to become a television cameraman and remained a part of that amazing business for over fifty years.
