Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Timothy Rasinski, professor emeritus at Kent State University, is a leading expert in reading fluency with over 250 articles and 50+ books to his name, including The Fluent Reader and The Megabook of Fluency. His research has been widely published and cited by major literacy organizations, earning him numerous accolades, including induction into the International Reading Hall of Fame and recognition as one of the world’s top 2% of scientists. A former classroom teacher, Rasinski brings decades of experience to his work supporting struggling readers.


Melissa Cheesman Smith is an experienced elementary educator, teacher mentor, and author of over a dozen literacy books, including The Megabook of Fluency and Daily Word Ladders series, co-authored with Timothy Rasinski. She holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, has taught college-level literacy courses, and presents nationally on fluency, vocabulary, writing, and teacher development.
Savannah Campbell is a K–5 reading specialist, literacy consultant, and podcast host with over 14 years of classroom experience. She holds two master’s degrees in education from the College of William & Mary and is trained in Orton-Gillingham and LETRS. Savannah helps schools implement structured literacy and co-hosts Unlocking SOR, a virtual conference series for educators.
