Inhaltsangabe

A slasher possessed by a djinn, and the woman who makes his heart hurt... Having said yes to possession by a djinn while he served his country in the Middle East, Damien Saber's ability to slash his way towards revenge is unique. Unquestionable. Impossible to escape. With the help of his trusty blade, he's knocking names off his personal hit-list like a pro... except for Lyla. Because after stalking her for three nights, he's developed a funny feeling in his chest. Pending heart attack? Maybe. Comeuppance for a life poorly lived? Probably. But with his djinn demanding the contractual life-force he's agreed to provide, and parts of him insisting upon a different sort of sacrifice, matters become... complicated. What's a slasher to do but kidnap the woman who intrigues him? One way or another, he's going to get to the bottom of why he feels so differently where Lyla's concerned--and why he's suddenly reconsidering his bargain with the djinn. Lyla Amer is living a pretty ordinary life when chaos springs up around her. First, there's her stalker. Second, there's her boss's murder. And third... well, there's the hot guy whose muscles make boulders look small who appears in her boss's bathroom, only he must be a figment of her imagination, right? But when the figment kidnaps her, she finds out just how real he is as her blood flows and her body melts. In this DARK Kinktober Romance, falling for the enemy is only the beginning. Can love find two people who by all rights should hate each other? Please see trigger list on Dedication page

Über diesen Titel

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Roslyn writes from the comfort of her sunroom, dog at hand to interrupt as much as caninely possible. Her life is pretty normal: husband, son, dog that thinks he's a cat, and endless bills, which is probably why her imagination goes right to archangels, monsters, demons, and fated true love, not to mention the darker stuff. No one wants to read about her sink full of dirty dishes. Magick, transformation, and understanding the maligned, however, are her turn-ons, and she hopes they'll be yours, too. One day, she hopes to understand the true nature of this world. Until then, she enjoys creating it.
