Even after many years and countless lives lost, the battles continue with no signs of peace to be found. The Spellking, following in the footsteps of his father, seeks to impose the reign of magic wielders across the kingdom. The House of Roderick, a new dynasty rising to take the place of the old, has banned most forms of magic in turn. Amid this conflict, a new generation comes of age. In the city of Kelshir, greed and corruption have taken hold, burning as surely as the forge fires used in crafting the weapons and armor of Hyarch's armies. The people of the surrounding towns and villages now face an uncertain future brought about by the city lord's scheming. No one knows this better than the elves of the region, for whom hope to preserve their way of life is waning. As this struggle grows desperate, four travelers arrive seeking the truth behind the dark mysteries of the kingdom.
