Inhaltsangabe

Iris inherited an asylum she'd never entered. Now, she must uncover its darkest secret: her own past. When journalist Iris Vance inherits the abandoned Willow Creek Psychiatric Clinic from a relative she never knew, it seems like a straightforward legal affair. But that illusion shatters in the clinic's dusty archives, where she finds a single, chilling note written in her own handwriting: "GET ME OUT." This discovery ignites a quest to uncover the truth behind the childhood accident that stole a year of her memories. The clinic's former director, the charismatic Dr. Sebastian Thorne, appears to help, but his guidance is a masterclass in gaslighting and psychological manipulation. Stalked through the decaying halls, Iris begins to doubt her own perception of reality. Haunted by fragmented memories and the haunting whispers that echo through the corridors, she follows a trail of horrific, unethical experiments known as "Project Mnemosyne"-an initiative dedicated to the manipulation of memory. Iris soon realizes she wasn't just an investigator; she was a subject. Perhaps the first "successful" one. In a deadly labyrinth of mind games against her own history, Iris must fight to reclaim not only her identity but also the memory of those who loved and fought for her. With unexpected twists that will keep you guessing until the final page, this intense psychological thriller questions everything you think you know about truth and the mind. Discover the secret. Read the sample now, and step into a short, suspenseful novel you won't be able to put down.
