DJ Ken Roc, whose real name is Kendall Rylander, is a real youth DJ from the city of Philadelphia. She

began her DJ journey in June 2022 at just eight years old and has been rocking crowds ever since with

her energy, creativity, and love for music. EJ, Kendall's mother, manages her DJ career and is a published author

author in her own right. Together, this mother-daughter duo are proud Philadelphians who created

The Adventures of DJ Ken Roc & The Magical Turntables series to celebrate Philadelphia pride, uplift

their community, and inspire young people to believe in themselves, live out their dreams out loud, and

never give up.

His art can be found across the city in murals, public installations, and youth-centered projects that uplift and inspire.Working across illustration, book design, and large-scale public art, Andre brings a thoughtful and intentional approach to visual storytelling. As the illustrator and designer of children's books such as The Adventures of DJ Ken Roc & The Magical Turntables: "The Beat of Belief," he leads the creative direction of projects from concept to completion.Through his work, Andre aims to spark imagination, amplify community voices, and encourage young people to see the power within themselves.
