Inhaltsangabe

They said that Chase Donovan had been a Texas Ranger for too long, that he'd become a law unto himself and that they weren't prepared to put up with his maverick, gun-fast ways any longer. So they took away his badge and kicked him out of the battalion and, almost before he knew it, he'd turned into a full-time drunk. Then a wealthy business man offered to bankroll his very own fight against the lawless. There was only one catch. Chase had to mend his wicked ways and go back to being the kind of lawman he used to be. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Ben Bridges is a veteran western writer who has also written thrillers, horror stories, war stories, SF, thrillers, mysteries and romance. With his long-time friend Mike Stotter he is also a publisher, and his company, Piccadilly Publishing, specializes in reissuing series fiction from the 1970s to the present.

Ben's screenplay for the forthcoming movie SHADOW FLATS has been novelized by Brent Towns. "My passion for all things western started at a young age when the first movie I saw was How The West Was Won. From there it was mostly movies until I was 13 and a close family friend gave me a small bag of western books to read. And as they say, the rest is history. I would devour authors such as George G Gilman, Louis' L'Amour, and Marshall Grover. That, though, was only the tip of the iceberg. I would consider myself a late starter to the western genre because my first book, Last Stand in Sanctuary, wasn't written or published until 2015. Since then other titles have come along such as High Valley Manhunt, Fury At Bent Fork, Brolin, and coming from Piccadilly Publishing, the action-packed Drifter series."
