Inhaltsangabe

Some things are easier expressed in poetry than through conversation.

In this second collection, Leah Robertson writes poems exploring the invisible weight of expectations and being understood. The poems move through the feelings of self-doubt, loneliness and all emotions alike, highlighting the importance of family and friendships in everyday lives.

'Below the Surface' follows moments of uncertainty, health worries, and the wonders we think of the world. Highlighting the thoughts many people don't want to say aloud. Perfect for those who want to feel heard.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Leah Robertson is a young girl who grew up in the islands of Orkney. She is a very active and outgoing person who contributes to the community greatly. Leah is a great friend and an amazing person, always there to speak to or help.

She found a love for poetry at a young age and has been writing ever since. Leah spends a lot of her time on buses to get from her multiple jobs and sports activities and found this time perfect for writing down the thoughts in her head. While many people did not know about the passion Leah had for writing, those who did wholeheartedly supported her on her journey to publish her poems.
