What if the ones we love never truly leave us, but learn a new language to reach us? After the loss of her beloved son Benjamin, Wendy Samons began noticing signs she could not easily dismiss. Cardinals appeared in moments of deep grief. Butterflies arrived during painful decisions. Feathers showed up in unlikely places. Numbers, dreams, nature, and quiet synchronicities began to feel like gentle reminders that love continues beyond physical death. As a registered nurse, Wendy was trained to value evidence, reason, and practical care. But grief opened a door to something deeper. In Whispers from Beyond: Healing Signs from Loved Ones and the Universe, she blends personal experience, spiritual insight, neuroscience, and compassionate guidance to help readers recognize the signs that may already be surrounding them. This book explores the healing language of: Cardinals, butterflies, dragonflies, and feathers Dreams, numbers, synchronicities, and divine timing Messages from departed loved ones Nature's quiet role in emotional and spiritual healing The neuroscience of pattern recognition, grief, and awareness Practical ways to develop intuition without losing discernment The difference between comforting signs and emotional overwhelm With honesty and tenderness, Wendy shows that signs from loved ones are not about escaping grief. They are about learning how love continues, how healing begins, and how the universe may speak when the heart is finally ready to listen. This is a book for anyone grieving a loved one, questioning life after death, seeking spiritual comfort, or longing for reassurance that connection does not end at the grave. Open your heart. Notice the signs. Begin the conversation beyond what you can see.

Wendy Samons is a writer, a retired registered nurse and certified medical case manager with over 30 years of experience caring for all age-range patients in ICU, Emergency Medicine and in Radiology. Wendy has become a deeply spiritual person after the loss of her 19 year old son changed her life. She started receiving unmistakable signs and messages from beyond-an experience that has ultimately transformed her grief into guidance. Today, she helps others recognize and trust the messages they receive, blending heartfelt wisdom with a healer's grounding presence. She hopes that her books will be tools for helping readers turn grief into connection and pain into purpose. When Wendy isn't writing, she involves herself in meditative exercises and is a life-long learner, as her interests are many. She has one son named Peter and lives on a farm in Kentucky with her husband, Gary and their three Border Collies, Chloe, Ayla and Bella. Wendy loves to paint, and enjoys anything to do with water, flower gardening and traveling.
