Sustainable development and local economic empowerment improve quality of life while ensuring long-term social, economic, and environmental well-being. By promoting inclusive economic opportunities, strengthening local businesses, and supporting responsible resource management, communities can build resilience and achieve sustainable growth. Local economic empowerment enables individuals and communities to participate more actively in economic decision-making, create livelihoods, and reduce poverty, while sustainable development ensures they are maintained for future generations. Together, these approaches contribute to stronger economies, greater social equity, and more sustainable and self-reliant communities. Sustainable Development and Local Economic Empowerment explores how sustainable development strategies promote long-term economic growth, environmental stewardship, and social well-being in communities. It examines the role of local economic empowerment in creating jobs, reducing poverty, strengthening local enterprises, and enabling individuals and communities to shape their economic futures. This book covers topics such as circular economics, political science, and supply chain management, and is a useful resource for business owners, economists, government officials, policymakers, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
