After getting into an altercation with a client (who threatens to press charges), temperamental socialite Gianna Brookes, daughter to the CEO of Brookes Technologies, is sternly told that if her actions bring in bad press for the company, she’ll be fired. As a model, and a well known social media star, she can’t exactly afford to make headlines in handcuffs anyway. Thankfully, her salvation comes in the form of an “Art Therapy” course at the local community center that’s occasionally offered in lieu of jail time.
After being let go from his position as a middle school art teacher due to budget cuts, Howard Foster, a kind-hearted painter who knows he’s been wronged, is desperate to find a job. Advice from a colleague points him in the direction of a position teaching art to adults, but it turns out to be quite a bit more than he bargained for, especially when he meets the single person he’ll be instructing.
Howard and Gianna predictably bump heads when they first meet but, as they work alongside each other to complete the program, they both soon find that there’s more to the other than they originally thought. When unexpected feelings begin to bloom, the pair have to figure out if they’re ready for what those feelings might grow into.
