Vulnerable mission is about giving up rather than using power in cross-cultural Christian ministry. In that, vulnerable mission seeks to follow Jesus’ ministry style.

Central—although often ignored—sources of power today are “global” languages and foreign funds. What would happen if more people embraced vulnerable mission by choosing to use only vernacular languages and local resources in key areas of their ministry?
