A sci-fi family adventure of a UCLA Entomology Professor, Robert Cook, whose fantasy since childhood was to experience the insect world through books, annuals, and watching the little creatures with a magnifying glass in his backyard. His hobby later becomes his whole life as he begins studying Entomology at college. While at college, Robert meets a fellow entomology student, Tick Stein. He tells Tick of his lifelong dream of creating an ecosystem together with plant and insect life. Tick is overwhelmed by this but agrees to help him with his dream. So begins years of success and failure that lead to Professor Robert Cooks, "INSECT JUNGLE."
