In the fourth and final book of the Below the Surface series, Ozias Chase, a young soldier who came down to the Underworld with Correll's cadre, is forced to deal with moral conflicts and dilemmas when he falls in love with Nahanni, the heir to the chieftainship of Tanhaia, and realizes there are no good guys or bad guys in a war.
