Glover’s Christian life began with a shocking encounter with an alien being—an angel of God. His meeting with this being of light, a being that he did not believe existed (until it stood before his very eyes), turned him from an alcoholic, party-loving heathen to a God-fearing Christian, literally overnight. The genesis for this book originates from an experience the author had many years ago in the desert foothills of Arizona late one night. He'd given up praying. As a young Christian in his twenties and just a few years old as a Christian, he became convinced that God did not hear him when he prayed. But, after 6 months of not praying, he decided to give prayer another try. So, late one night after getting off work, he headed to the nearby foothills for the express purpose of attempting to communicate with the God that seemed to not hear him any more.

What followed was a dramatic and miraculous event, followed by a revelation about prayer that drastically altered the author's approach to prayer, as well as his understanding of what God expects from those who pray to Him. Glover's communications with God lasted all night and the sun was rising in a brilliant burst of bright white-yellow splash across the foothills when he departed, rejoicing in the knowledge that not only did God hear him when he prayed, but that God wanted to answer his prayers.
